Christmas Eve was wonderful. We started the day by talking to my youngest brother and sister, who are both serving as full time missionaries, on Skype. We had our entire family on, which was a lot of fun.
We also let the kids exchange presents in the morning, knowing there wouldn't be much time for it the next day. Benjamin got a baseball helmet from Peter, Peter got a Space Angry Birds game from Nora,
and Nora got some Dora toys from Benjamin.
Our Christmas Eve Feast.
And the traditional Nativity re-enactment. Benjamin played the part of the wise men.
Nora played Mary, Paul was Joseph and the donkey as needed, I was the narrator, and Peter was a bystander.
Nora made a really sweet Mary.
After our nativity reading, the kids opened their Christmas jammies. Angry Birds for the boys and Cinderella for Nora. I love the excitement and special traditions on Christmas Eve. It's almost better than Christmas morning for me.
